Alwar: : The hospital is located in the District Headquater itself and is also the oldest in the network. It is a full fledged secondary centre with the capacity to deal with all kinds of cataract cases and diagnostic facilities such as Visual Fields, Fundus Flurocein Angiography and Retinal lasers. The standard clinical services are complemented by regular visit of speciality surgeons across all specialities.

Apart from catering to the paid clientele of alwar town, the centre focuses on providing services to the community in the entire district of alwar as well as some neighbouring districts like Bharatpur and Dausa. The secondary centre is supported by 6 Vision centres spread across various points in the district.

The projects that are running in the catchment area are:
• A vision centre project funded by Seeing is believing, a combined entity of International agency for Prevention of Blindness and Standard Chartered Bank
• A community Based Rehabilitation Project funded by CBM working across 5 disabilities
• A Paediatric Eye Care awareness project funded by CBM
• A detection and treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy Project funded by World Diabetes Foundation
